Petit Jean State Park

October-November, 1935 Picnickers continue to use the park on the weekend, taking advantage of the mild weather and the autumn beauty. A visit from the regional archeologist revived interest in the pictographs, of which 200 have been found in the area, as well as numerous arrowheads, bits of pottery, stone hammers etc. The educational advisor is preserving these and has already a very credible collection, which he is preparing for permanent use in the park.
